What impact do our personal effects have on our daily lives?
Every object makes and impact on the life of its user. I created this photo book to examine the dialogue between a user and the objects he or she uses every day.
Using photography and hand written narration, I collected a series of objects I personally interact with each day. I looked at what information I gained from the object, the point of interaction, and how that object impacted the course of my day.
I created two series of images for this project. One series was taken with a web camera and desktop scanner and printed digitally. The other series was taken with a macro lens and printed as Polaroid transfers.
